We were deeply saddened to hear that Nohemi Gonzalez, a student at Cal State Long Beach, who was a member of the student team who won second place in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge, was tragically killed in the recent attacks in Paris.
We send our deepest condolences to Nohemi's family, friends, and fellow teammates, and to all those who lost a loved one in the horrific act. Nohemi was described as a "bright light" in the world and we mourn her loss.
